Mandala Painting Day Workshop

With Anne Thomas

Venue:  Denmark Farm Conservation Centre, Lampeter, SA48 8PD Wales

Wildest Dreams edit small.jpg

In this mandala painting mini retreat we’ll be exploring the lines and layers of connection and inter-relationship that make up our experience of the world.

“One thing I’ve learned in the woods is that there is no such thing as random. Everything is steeped in meaning, colored by relationships, one thing with another.”
-Robin Wall Kimmerer

From our personal microbiome and sense of an inner landscape, to the way we relate to other beings, with the elements, the land and the wider cosmos, we’ll create mandalas to describe aspects of inter-being and belonging.

The context and imagery of woodland life might inspire our creativity:
Roots, trees, plants, fungi, growth patterns, pathways, foot prints, insects, birds, animals, cycles of life and death and reciprocity.
Suitable for all levels of ability including beginners.

Cost: £65

The Sacred Heart

Mandala Painting Day

With Anne Thomas

Centre edit 1.jpg

In this workshop we focus on the sacred feminine energy, that is deeply rooted in trusting one’s intuition and heart. It is a passionate, creative, and life-giving force, that supports the deep heartfelt nurturing of all creation.

Our shared exploration will include guided visualisation, talking circles and the resonance of sound and colour to awaken a heart-centred awareness that we can then channel through our wise hands, into drawing and painting a mandala design.

Inspiration from Goddess myths, the natural world and our shared remembrances will all play a part in making this a beautiful and nourishing day mandala painting retreat.
