Relax, restore and attune to the magic of spring unfurling, through the sacred art of Mandala painting.

Our shared attention in this workshop will include guided visualisation, sacred geometry, the intrinsic patterns of nature and the resonance of colour; tuning into the dynamic energy of Spring.
Drawing geometry and mandala painting invites a meditative sense of calm reflection; a place to play, process, acknowledge the divinity within all things and how the oneness expresses through us.
The design becomes imbued with the quality of our intention and attention, resulting in a kind of visual energy map, symbolic of our inner world.
Geometry provides a framework which allows us to set our sense of ‘self’ aside as we follow new routes and ancient pathways, pausing at intersections to feel our way.
You’ll learn how to create patterns using the ancient tools of compass, straight edge and pencil. Then painting with watercolour onto paper.

Suitable for all levels of ability, materials provided.
Children aged 11 and up welcome (accompanied by an adult).

This is a new collaboration with my daughters Alice and Lily, sharing our creative practices of  mandala painting, jewellery making and macrame over the weekend.
