RESTORING BALANCE - MIDSUMMER MANDALA DAY

JUNE 25TH 2021, 10.30am to 4pm, with an optional evening ceremony.

Venue: Denmark Farm Conservation Centre, Lampeter, SA48 8PD Wales

Celebrating Life, Light and Roses at Midsummer time.

On this day rereat we'll cultivate a quality of attention that helps us appreciate the exquisite forms in nature, paying special attention to the wild Rose. Experiencing beauty is deeply healing and restorative, positively affecting how we relate to the world around us.

The geometry of nature, multi cultural mandala and the symbolic language of shapes helps to focus our observations and inspirations towards mandala making; drawing geometry with compass and ruler and painting with watercolour, while taking time to relax and deepen our presence with guided meditation.

Roses are not only beautiful in physical appearance and fragrance, but also offer many health restoring properties which we'll discover through the day.

Suitable for all levels of ability.

In the evening we will re-convene to co-create an outdoor mandala-labyrinth, to provide a setting for a ceremonial prayer/song circle.

Cost £40  for the day workshop, including materials. Evening ceremony timing and cost tbc.

GATHERING IN - AUTUMNAL MANDALA DAY

OCTOBER 8TH 2021, 10.30AM TO 4PM

Venue:  Denmark Farm Conservation Centre, Lampeter, SA48 8PD Wales

A nourishing day retreat in the heart of mid Wales, offering deep thanks for the gifts of our lives, at this autumnal time of Gathering In.

Our journey will include creating a mandala of Gratitude; a personal Shield that can hold a visual reminder for future practice, anchoring and strengthening our energy. The process will include guided meditation, sacred song (covid safe - outdoors) and observing the geometry present in nature, within the setting of a beautiful nature reserve. There will be time to explore and connect with the gifts of the earth and be attentive to our deeper wild selves.

Studying the geometry of nature, multi cultural mandala and the symbolic language of shapes, we then apply our observations and inspirations to mandala making; drawing geometry with compass and ruler and painting with watercolour, while taking time to relax with guided meditation.

Suitable for all levels of ability.
Cost £40 including materials
