Earth Treasure Vase
For the Spirit of Inspiration

Introduction

We live at a pivotal time in the history of humanity, a time of Earth crises, where the catastrophic results of sustained over-consumption, pollution and extraction are threatening the lives of all beings on this beautiful blue-green planet. A cascade of inevitable outcomes are unfolding, from decades of a dominant system that disregards the delicate balance of the web of life, in the misapprehension that humans can somehow be separate and therefore invulnerable. A system that values material wealth over happiness and health, on a personal as well as societal level; enslaving everyone in the pursuit of economic growth and 'progress', denying the existence of anything unquantifiable, such as sentience and spirit, to justify harming, exploiting, subjugating and violating the non-human world, as well as fellow human beings.

We've grown up and lived in the shadow of this unchecked capitalism. For a long time many of us have questioned those values, and been part of an arising counter-movement that recognises the need to live in balance and harmonious relationship with all beings in order to survive and thrive; acknowledging our inseparability from the web of life.
Even as the extractive over-culture remains, lots of groundwork has been done in developing regenerative agriculture, holistic approaches to health and wellbeing, embracing indigenous and ancient wisdom, to help ourselves reawaken to a more embodied presence in our daily lives.

The movement is one of consciousness shift, away from the 'power-over' mindset of entrenched entitlement, towards a more humble, curious, collaborative and loving state of being. Replacing the 'Trauma culture' with something more initiatory: an ongoing awakening into a more meaningful relationship with Life.

The Earth Treasure Vase practice sits at the heart of this awakening.

while capitalism collapses, we have to find better ways of doing things
So we may know how best to stand in service of these things, for the  sake of generations yet to come
