Barn Owl Shrine
 
Hand built ceramic sculpture
Height 27cm x 9cm at the base
 
Sculpted from a textured clay that fires a warm, honey colour. Designed  to hold a 7 x 7.5cm candle (1 x ochre coloured unscented candle included), or a regular tea light.
 
Suitable for indoor or garden settings, if protected from frost.

Below barn owl spreads silence;
All sound crouches to the ground,
Runs for cover, huddles down.
Noise is what Owl hunts,
drops on, stops dead.
